AEGIX announced that their Director of Research, Gloria Shkurti Özdemir, participated in the 3rd UNITAR International Research Conference held December 3–4, 2025 at UN House in Brussels, Belgium.
The conference assembled scholars, practitioners, policymakers, students, and community leaders to examine interdisciplinary strategies for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
The gathering centered on “Bridging Knowledge and Action to Deliver the SDGs,” emphasizing quality education (SDG 4), climate action (SDG 13), peace and justice (SDG 16), and goal partnerships (SDG 17). The event functioned as a discussion forum examining how research, innovation, and cross-sector collaboration can contribute to more effective policy and real-world impact.
Shkurti Özdemir’s involvement reflected AEGIX’s commitment to examining emerging technologies, governance frameworks, and international policy while engaging sustainable development, institutional resilience, and interdisciplinary cooperation discussions.
The organization continues leveraging platforms like 3UIRC to bridge academic research with practical application and global policy concerns.
